The Global Trailblazing Foundation

The global online youth club that gives back. Proud supporters of The Africa Childrens Development Trust projects and initiatives.

The Global Trailblazing Foundation.

The Global Trailblazing Foundation was launched in May 2023 as the charitable arm of Global Trailblazing | The Online Youth Club, an incredible club for children all around the world to learn, grow, connect and have fun in the online space, and founded by Nikki Collinson-Phenix, the founder of the Africa Childrens Development Trust.

The club was born out of Nikki’s travels with her family to facilitate a space of learning and connection amongst children around the world who may be world schooling, homeschooling, online schooling, live rural or have challenges that meant group ‘in person’ clubs were not something they could attend.

From the moment the conception of the club came into Nikki’s head and she decided to turn this idea into reality she knew that in amongst all the club benefits that she could provide for advantaged children, there HAD to be an arm to the club that would support disadvantaged children too.

One of the key messages of the club is giving back, and to inspire the global trailblazers who are club members to appreciate the advantages they have, to not take them for granted and to always seek ways to help others.

And so The Global Trailblazing Foundation was created with its own plan of projects and initiatives around the world.

With her work with the ACDT she knew that part of that work would HAVE to be supporting her youth projects with the children in the slums of Uganda and in surrounding communities.

Through the membership of Global Trailblazing | The Online Youth Club, a percentage of membership fees goes directly to the foundation and as the club grows, more events will take place that will directly feed into the work of the ACDT.

The Global Trailblazing Foundation will directly impact the ACDT projects of Ndeeba Primary School, The Chrysalis Vocational Academy, The Dignity Project and Project Sleep Safe, our key projects supporting our children through education, health, vocational studies and malaria prevention.

We are really excited about this partnership, both for the children who are fortunate to become a part of the club, and for the disadvantaged children who will benefit too.

And we are off!

MAY 2023 - Our very first donations received to The Global Trailblazing Foundation are already doing great things! One of our projects Ndeeba Primary School desperately needed new saucepans to cook the school meal for the 280 children that attend. Often this can be their only main meal and so making sure that during term time we can facilitate this meal is huge for us! The previous saucepans we had had for years and they had broken down. So now our school kitchen has 2 new saucepans ready to continue to provide our school meal of maize flour (poshu) and beans to our amazing kids!
